The aim of this School is to introduce new embryologist in the fertility field as well as trained professionals, who wants to polish up their knowledge with the newest standards and treatment modalities. In the European school of ART all courses are held by certified clinical embryologists (ESHRE) and clinicians with many years of experience. Participants will be given an opportunity to view all clinical procedures and interact with clinical embryologists, andrologists and physicians.
All courses available are done in the clinical IVF laboratory setting. It is a unique opportunity to interact with the embryologists at the Linz IVF programme. This training programme is conducted by Dr. Thomas Ebner, Scientific Director and Dr. Marianne Moser, Lab Director of the IVF Laboratory.
The laboratory is staffed with four embryologists doing almost 750 fresh cycles a year plus over 150 frozen transfer cycles. We are the largest public hospital in Austria. The IVF program and protocols are well established and have led to consistently high pregnancy outcomes. Numerous scientific publications in top ranking journals may further emphasize the consistency and quality of our work. A Certificate is awarded upon completion of the courses (ICSI/IVF, cryopreservation, polar body biopsy, IUI, andrology, basic and advanced clinical embryology).
All courses are composed of both a theoretical and an intensive hands-on part. Micromanipulation training sessions are usually 2 days. A comprehensive one week training course covering all aspects of embryology and routine lab work is also available. Custom tailored courses are available for Gynecologists interested in a general overview of IVF procedures and setting up of an IVF program.
